New Labour’s anti-Tory campaign poster backfires (03Apr10)

New Labour launch the latest in their campaign posters against the Conservatives. Unfortunately, the poster style is of a widely likable TV character who “gets things done.” Of course, New Labour are widely seen to have wasted 13 years and installed a police state, implying that the Conservatives would take the UK back to the “can do” decade pf the 1980′s is a massive own goal.

Recorded from Sky News, 03 April 2010.

    A serious own goal …
A serious own goal by Labour. Cameron’s main weakness is that he’s seen as wet behind the ears and full of PR fluff. By comparing him with Gene Hunt, the ultimate macho hero they are shooting themselves in the foot. Brown’s poll ratings went up post bully gate because he was seen as strong and had a personality. Labour are handing Cameron the election.
